My Rebrand Story....

Have you ever invested an insane amount of time on something to move your life forward only to discover it wasn't the path you were meant to be on?

I have.

For years, I listened to everyone else's dreams for my business.  To keep growing and expanding.  Let's add a receptionist, more staff, more products....more services.  More, more more!  I'd go on to invest thousands of dollars in equipment, retail and even move to a larger space.  I would hire eager therapists to fill my treatment rooms and brow stations.  In retrospect, I'm quite proud of what I built....literally from the ground up. It was amazing.

But, there was one big problem.  I didn't want to be the figure head of a huge spa + boutique.

I suppose, this is where I can be thankful for a world pandemic.  The silver lining being that I was forced to slow down, turn inward and truly listen to my desires.  I don't want to minimize the struggle during this time.  Like so many small businesses, it was a tough time.  I'm really grateful I was able to not only survive it but coming out the other side thriving.

Finally! I found some clarity during this downtime: I had zero interest in managing a bunch of therapists.  What I truly wanted was small, bespoke, hands-on work.  The moment, I realized this and started to focus on MY dream, my business began to thrive in a new, more aligned way.  Everything became easy because I was in love with what I was creating.  What a gift.

The last two years have been about reestablishing myself as a solo practitioner + educator, attracting ONLY my dream clients and learning how to use my gifts to serve others.  In order for me to do this, I had to go through a very slow moving transformation that included 6 stages:

Realize - the "aha" moment for a new path

Release - letting go of what no longer serves me

Rebound - nurturing my mind, body + spirit

Reinvent - make new choices in alignment with my stage 1 realization

Resurrect- rising above obstacles of the past

Respond - contribute to making a positive impact in my life and in the world

*******I'm so pumped for the next chapter in my storybook*******

If there's one thing we all know about living life, it's that change will happen.  Embrace life as an ongoing process of transformation and keep a healthy curiosity about each outcome. I believe this is a prescription for a healthy, happy, fulfilled life.

So, in conclusion, I felt a rebranding for my business was in order.  First, I had to close my retail store (formerly known as Copal) and re-position myself as a private atelier (see below for a Q+A).  I wanted to curate a much smaller collection of favorite beauty brands and fulfill my long time dream of creating my own skincare line. In addition, I wanted to share more about my own health journey and make it part of my ongoing mission to help other women live healthier lives with my integrative, WHOLE SKIN APPROACH.

None of this happened over night of course. And, nothing was built by me alone.  I had an incredible team of like-minded women to help me create my new business look + feel. It's been almost two years in the making and I can't wait to share all of it with you.

On December 1st, I will launch a new website and....drumroll...... my VERY OWN skincare line-- The Sixth House.  You can stay tuned on my blog and newsletter for more.  Or, follow along on social media.

Local friends + clients, join me on Thursday December 1st from 5-8pm for an Evening of Merrymaking and be the FIRST to preview my new skincare line.

Along with Filly Rose Intimates and EmbodyYou, LLC we'll celebrate the season with sips, treats, complimentary reiki sessions, a trunk show and raffles.  Event location is at my studio:

 FAQ
Q:  What if I was a client in the past but haven't been in to see you since you moved to your new location?  Am I still an existing client?
A:  Unfortunately, no.  If you haven't had an appointment with me in the last 18 months (as of June 2021) you are considered a NEW client.
Q:  Are you taking NEW clients?
A:  I am NOT taking any new brow clients at this time.  My new website will have a WAITLIST for you to sign up to become a brow client (space will be limited).  I am, however, seeing new facial guests.  You MUST book the facial consultation with your facial treatment (and, cannot "add-on" brows).
Q: Is your studio open for shopping or stopping by and how can I buy products from you?
A: My studio is open by appointment only and is not open to the public for shopping.  You can, however, shop online 24/7 on my website.  I have local in-store pick up available on Tuesdays + Thursdays from 11-4pm.  No exceptions.  If these times don't work, you can select standard shipping.
Q: What brands are you carrying?
A: I will continue to carry curated products from Botnia, LilFox, Dr.Loretta and my new skincare line, The Sixth House.  I will also have my own Brow products, a few select beauty tools available such as gua sha stones, face rollers, palo santo, candles and dry brushes.  To be honest, I'm still contemplating bringing in a a small makeup collection.  If this interests you, please let me know.
Q: What is the best way to reach you or book an appointment?
A: I'm completely digital-- I have an incredible booking APP that you can conveniently use through my website to book, change and cancel your appointments.  If you have an appointment and you're running late, the best way to reach me is by email: jennie@jenniefresa.com
Q:  What happens if I have to cancel my appointment?
A:  I kindly ask that you give me a 48 hour notice on all appointment changes or cancellations.  You will be able to adjust your appointments online when cancelling with proper notice.  If you aren't able to give me a 48 hour notice, you will be charged a 50% late cancel fee.  No shows will be charged 100% of the service fee.  I'm a small business, solo provider and I cannot survive without proper notice.  This is something I will ask you to agree to before becoming a client.
Q:  Are you doing makeup services?
A: Not at this time, but stay tuned for my collection of video tutorials.
Q:  What if  have an old gift card from Copal?
A:  You can use any gift cards that were purchased in the last 4 years (since 2018) for online purchases only.  I cannot redeem gift cards for services.  I'm terribly sorry for this inconvenience but I'm only one person and this is the best I can do.
Q:  Where is your new studio?
A:  I'm located at 168 Boston Post Road, in Suite # 4 Madison CT 06443.  There is free off street parking.  Look for The Madison Stock Exchange.  I'm next door to Jai Yoga.  You will see my *NEW* sign next to my front door.
Q:  Will there be other ways to work with you?
A:  Yes, stay tuned for health/beauty coaching services and Esthetician mentoring services that will be launching in 2023.
Q: How do I stay in the know?
A: The best way to stay in the know is to make sure you're signed up for my (mostly) bi-weekly newsletter.  I'm also active on Instagram and Facebook. where I post behind the scenes, beauty tips and loads of free content every month.
I hope this FAQ was helpful.  As always, if you have a specific question, just send me an email at jennie@jenniefresa.com  - I'm always happy to hear from you!
XO, Jennie
