Assistant Store Manager – 30-35 Hours

Overview:

The Assistant Store Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the Owner in overseeing the sales, daily operations and human resources functions of the store to ensure a great customer experience and maximum profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve daily sales goal while managing the front desk & putting the customer first.
  • Answering the phone and scheduling appointments as needed.
  • Create welcoming, warm & clean environment for our clients and staff.
  • Motivate, train and influence sales through shared selling skills + product knowledge.
  • Plan and execute monthly events and daily in-store activity.
  • Evaluate in-store visual displays and merchandising.
  • Inventory Control + Data Entry: Open shipments and check invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Work in coordination with Owner to help recruit, train and develop employees.
  • Facilitate educational trainings and team meetings as needed.
  • Oversee bridal inquires consisting of  correspondence, drafting contracts + managing calendars.
  • Consistently demonstrate a polished and professional appearance that reflects brand esthetic.
  • Review and analyze business performance of daily, weekly, monthly & annual sales results
  • Identifies opportunities to drive traffic into store through community outreach, marketing campaigns, social media, events & new product launches.
  • Manages store supply levels, cash control and other expenses.

We would like to hear from people with:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a cosmetic coordinator, account executive, salon or retail manager (or equivalent position).
  • Excellent selling and customer service skills. (basic makeup skills not required but BIG bonus).
  • A proven track record of achieving personal sales goals.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, presentation and communication skills
  • Experience planning and executing successful beauty events.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & multi-task.
  • Adequate computer skills such as, but not limited to, Mail chimp, POS, Excel Spreadsheets, Google Calendar & Google Drive and Social Media platforms.
  • Professional attitude + ability to be flexible, learn quickly + handle change in a positive manner.
  • Must be flexible to change to reflect the needs of the business including coverage of weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • A passion for clean beauty, wellness and overall interest in future company growth.

 

Beauty Ambassador (Esthetician & Makeup Artist) 18-20 Hours

Overview:

The Beauty Ambassador is a leadership position and is primarily responsible for servicing clients for brow waxing, facials, body waxing and makeup applications as well as effectively selling our clean beauty brands.  We are looking for team players who enjoy small business culture and an intimate boutique atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide brow waxing, facials and makeup applications
  • Answering the phone and scheduling appointments as needed
  • Helping to keep the store tidy and clean (open/close duties)
  • Suggestive selling +meeting sales goals
  • Assisting with re-stocking shelves and opening order shipments

We would like to hear from people with:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working as a beauty service provider
  • A valid CT esthetics certificate or license from another state.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Prior Sales experience + team player
  • Bridal Beauty experience (2 year minimum)
  • A passion for Green Beauty & Wellness
  • A professional and positive attitude

Traveling Freelance Makeup Artist – Seasonal

Overview:  We have a robust on-location bridal beauty business, serving nearly 100 brides each season.  We’re always on the hunt for top-notch talent to help us meet the demands of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel on-site for Bridal Makeup applications, airbrushing and false lashes
  • Provide Professional Makeup services in a time effective manner (20 min)
  • Manage your own calendar and be exceedingly organized and dependable.
  • Flexibility to meet with potential brides for trials at our Madison shop.

  • 5+ years experience in Bridal beauty
  • A valid driver’s license
